Jacqlyn Kirkland holds degrees in biology, anthropology, and museum studies, and has combined elements from each -- along with her passion for education and design skills -- in creating her professional portfolio. She has participated in numerous archaeological digs, conducted archival and photographic research for two best-selling authors, and is an expert event planner as well as social media guru. Her photographs have appeared in Mobile Bay Magazine and Alabama Heritage and in publications for the Mobile Museum of Art and the History Museum of Mobile. Smith Center, the Alabama Department of Archives and History, Gulf South Historical Association, and the Alabama Historical Association. Scotty's work has appeared in The Alabama Review, Mobile Bay Magazine, and Alabama Heritage, among other publications.
